IT OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Position Summary

Livemercial, a full scale online advertising company, is seeking a permanent "hands on" Director of IT Operations to join in their leadership and expanding technology team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The right candidate will have demonstrated an engineer level mastery of networking fundamentals and technologies, a solid background in telecommunications, a solid background in Microsoft based server environments, a thorough understanding coupled with considerable experience with databases including SQL, and MySQL databases, and must have experience designing, implementing, and upgrading databases.
• The Operations Director will work with all network and programming employees, helpdesk, and administration employees. This person is also responsible for hardware acquisition, licensing, and vendor relationship management.
• This position has personal accountability for optimizing IT performance across the business and keeping operations online 24/7.
• To be considered for this position, the right candidate must also possess 5+ years of hands on technology experience preferably in a large scale MsSQL environment. Proven leadership ability and management experience is a must.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Operations Director highly preferred
• MUST have experience with SQL and MySQL environments
• 5+ years of hands on technology experience preferably in a large scale MsSQL environment.
• Proven leadership ability and management experience is a must.
• 3+ yrs experience designing, implementing, and upgrading databases.
